Renzo Sanio
Born and raised in Reston, Virginia, Rajan discovered his love for movement and mental clarity through basketball and tennis. At UVA, he launched a sneaker resale hustle that ignited a deeper passion for entrepreneurship. That path led to Royal Oak Retreat, where he now blends wellness, creativity, and community - documenting the journey of building both the brand and himself on social media.
A proud Virginia Tech grad, Renzo is driven by a commitment to design spaces that invite inner peace and make healthy living feel effortless. After a life-changing trip to Japan, he’s woven wellness into the fabric of his life’s work. When he’s not building, you’ll find him casting lines at sunrise, chasing serves on the tennis court, or wandering wherever the trail leads.
Our Story

Royal Oak Retreat was created by Rajan Chida and Renzo Sanio, two visionaries with a shared love for design, mindfulness, and the Virginia outdoors.

Our Team
Destined for hospitality, Samantha’s roots run deep—from family vacations at Atlantic City’s Taj Mahal to afternoons spent coloring at the bar while her grandmother waited tables. These early memories sparked a lifelong passion for crafting memorable brands with the end consumer in mind. As the creative director of Green Velvet, an interior branding studio, Samantha specializes in translating brand identity into cohesive digital and physical experiences.
